Teacher Goals and Supported Orchestration through Intelligent-Augmented Dashboard Support

Short Description

The research presented in this session will highlight three themes found in teacher interviews surrounding classroom goals in a middle school problem-based learning environment: (1) Recognize practical constraints, (2) Go beyond disciplinary learning, and (3) Support learners in assuming responsibility. This presentation works to introduce an innovative design being implemented to address these goals while decreasing teacher orchestration load. The dashboard design will be demoed and used as a form of discussion in the session.
