Short Description

This presentation focuses on the significance of leveraging learning analytics to rapidly design instructions using the rapid prototyping model for emergency remote teaching (ERT). The study analyzes the academic, social and psychological needs that are sparked by natural and human-induced crises (pandemic, hurricane, earthquake, etc), and how they impact learning. The study also looks at how learning analytics can speed up the instructional design process (while using the Rapid Prototyping model) for designing instructions for ERT. This research is expected to be an essential resource for faculty, instructional designers, and administrators of higher educational institutions.
