We design a neural engineering curriculum unit to foster CT skills within K-12 STEM and explore how user-centered methods of empathy interviews, empathy mapping, and persona development can inform design principles for establishing co-design process norms and expectations within a highly interdisciplinary design team. This session will explore the themes that emerged from the interviews and the co-design process recordings, our empathy maps, personas, and co-design considerations and recommendations, then open the floor for discussion.
