Short Description

This project integrated design thinking for engineering students to solve an authentic problem relevant to the Internet of Things (IoT). Students were tasked with creating interactive IoT design briefs and simulations to enhance customer experience at a local museum. An interdisciplinary partnership was formed for students to apply the IoT to a historical venue at the institution. Finally, students were instilled with compassion for customer needs and the capacity of solving real-world IoT problems.
