Wed, Oct 26, 10:20 to 11:15am PDT (10:20 to 11:15am PDT), Virtual, Online A

Short Description

The current study aimed to investigate the effects of a block-based programming interface (e.g., Hopscotch) on elementary school students’ attitudes toward programming. Eighteen elementary school students participated in a programming curriculum for about seven weeks. A survey on attitude toward programming was distributed before and after the curriculum. The findings indicated that block-based programming activities contributed to more positive attitudes toward programming.
