Short Description

This study examined the factor structure, validity and reliability of the Design Thinking Scale (DTS) with preservice teachers. The DTS was developed to assess the outcome of teaching design thinking to individuals from non-design fields. Study 1 established a high internal consistency of the DTS and identified Design Dispositions and Creativity Agency dimensions of the scale. Study II supported the two-factor solution using a confirmatory factor analysis and established the DTS’ convergent and discriminant validity.
