Short Description

Student experiences have changed due to the pandemic. An already visual-rich online environment has been inundated by images depicting social-behavioral changes due to a prolonged bout with an invisible enemy. Nowhere to go and teaching remotely, the researcher asked students to respond to prompts of a journaling activity by identifying and sharing images found online. The presentation explores the connection between the changing online visual landscape and teaching students about developing visual literacy skills.
