Instructors and students faced multiple challenges during emergency remote teaching (ERT) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This session will discuss a qualitative study conducted with higher education instructors from around the world. One-hundred and six instructors shared their ERT stories and experiences. Drawing upon feminist pedagogy, the stories revealed how many instructors humanized the learning experience by prioritizing care while considering the multiple identities and realities of their students.
