Artificial intelligence has the potential to provide each learner with their own personalized learning companion. This study aims to develop a conceptual framework of the Intelligent Learning Companion System(ILCS) to stimulate the Community of inquiry(CoI) framework by exploratory review of Learning Companion System literature to distill the core roles of the Learning Companions
