Short Description

We evaluated and reflected on the impact of a Wisdom-Community developed by and for faculty and graduate students in Educational Design and Learning Technologies. Community goals were to facilitate learning community, enhance professional identity, expand professional knowledge, and prepare members to use learning technologies. We applied educational design research methodologies to evaluate and reflect upon the impacts of the community. Findings revealed benefits and limitations of the WisCom, as well as guidelines for implementing WisComs.
