Short Description

This session will be beneficial to instructors who incorporate team activities in their online courses. In this study, researchers examined the effectiveness of team building activities on student learning experiences, communication, and collaboration while teaching an online Instructional Design Project Management course. Participants (n=35) included students in two sections of the course. Data included online questionnaire responses, reflections, and assignment grades. The surveys examined participants’ attitudes towards teamwork, team learning experience, and team learning behaviors.
