Short Description

Teachers’ decisions for instructional design and technology integration influence their teaching practices and student learning performances. This session presents the findings of a design-based research study that explored how pre-service teachers make instructional design decisions for technology integration as well as potential instructional approaches that support pre-service teachers’ design decision-making. Three instructional approaches were implemented to help pre-service teachers make instructional design decisions for technology integration. Results and implications regarding professional development strategies are discussed.
