This panel will discuss how instructional design programs can best support their students for the realities of the field. The panelists will share challenges incurred by instructional designers and offer suggestions for how instructional design faculty can cultivate authentic learning experiences in their classrooms to prepare their students. The goal of this session is to have an interactive conversation with attendees to strategize different instructional activities that can be employed in instructional design coursework.
