Short Description

More and more teachers are seeking to transition from teaching to instructional design. A cursory Google search will lead to any number of learning opportunities and advice about making the transition to instructional design. This panel reflects a diversity of instructional designers who have transitioned from PK-12 teaching roles. They will share their stories, discuss their transition to instructional design, describe how they have transferred skills and knowledge, the challenges of the transition, and how they see their work as instructional designers, and where do they now fit within their new profession and the AECT.
