This poster presents an analysis examining 27 picture books and graphic novels for K-6 students published between 2015 and 2020 for representation of computational thinking (CT) elements. The analysis identifies grade-level competencies in CT elements for each book and lists these alongside interest age-level. Literature offers elementary teachers a non-programming unplugged resource to expose students to CT and enhance CT and CT-integrated lessons, while also personalizing learning based on CT readiness and interest level.
