The purpose of this study is to analyze pre-service teachers’ computer programming patterns in an online learning environment. The participants’ computer programming learning patterns could be categorized into certain groups depending on their task selection, task completion, learning effort, and learning time. These groups were examined in the context of learners’ self-regulated learning levels, computational thinking skills, and learning performance.
