Mon, Oct 24, 3:20 to 3:35pm PDT (3:20 to 3:35pm PDT), Conf Center, Sunset 3

Short Description

The purpose of the study was to explore what computational thinking skills general education community college faculty believe are important for students to be successful and the relationship between these CT skills and curriculum integration strategies. A survey was created and distributed to Florida’s 28 community college faculty to determine which six skills are important and whether to incorporate into discipline-specific classes or a computation class. The presentation will discuss the process used and results.
