09. DELT- Analyzing learners’ navigation patterns in a science educational game through clustering analyses

Short Description

In this session, we will present our ongoing research to further examine the relationships between students’ navigation patterns and learning outcomes in an educational game. We will show findings using clustering techniques to demonstrate the association between frequency/duration of using tools built in the game and students’ learning outcomes, and the sequences of tool use by each cluster to examine their pathways. We will also address our future research directions based on the current results.
