12. EDHP- Dosage Calculation Practice for Undergraduate Nursing Students using a Digital-Physical Reality Game

Short Description

Undergraduate nursing students participated in an activity that connected the physical world to the digital world to complete dosage calculations and to administer medications. QR codes connected students from the skills lab where medications were prepared to ThingLink and Google Forms where calculations were completed. The Google Forms were set to branch, with calculation errors leading to correctable adverse effects for the patients. YouTube videos progressed a storyline while GooseChase kept the groups on task.
