The Streaming Science Project utilizes inexpensive mobile hardware and software to live webcast interactive electronic field trips (EFTs) to connect university scientists from field and lab locations with youth around the world. Over the past six years, Streaming Science has developed and tested an EFT formats for engaging youth in STEM.
