Short Description

Through participation in the STEM Faculty Institute (STEMFI), 30 university instructors made significant progress towards major reformation of their teaching to become more student-centered. In this presentation, we explain the background and design of STEMFI, along with results from three cohorts, and offer conclusions for other universities seeking to assist faculty in transitioning towards more student-centered practices in their STEM disciplines.
