In the current situation where the use of artificial intelligence tools is gradually increasing in education, new roles of teachers are required. Especially, for effective interaction between learners and artificial intelligence speakers, teachers should provide scaffolding by taking roles including facilitator and coordinator. The purpose of this study was to identify the role of a teacher in class using artificial intelligence speakers and develop cognitive, affective, and technical scaffolding strategies for the interaction between learners and artificial intelligence. Also, it analyzed teacher and learners’ responses to the scaffolding strategies.
