Short Description

As part of the upcoming Palgrave Handbook of Educational Thinkers (Geier, B., ed.), the authors review the contributions and legacy of Louis Braille. After a brief presentation about the braille system for readers with visual impairments and its integration with current technologies, presenters will encourage participants to share ideas about how educational and assistive technology professionals can forge closer collaborations to enable all learners to benefit from new and emerging technologies and learning environments.
