This study used internet-based photo-elicitation and interview methods to investigate graduate students’ experiences at a land grant university transitioning to online teaching and learning during the onset of COVID-19. Participant provided photos of work from home settings and humorous memes will be shared. Results showed graduate students had minimal resources, mental health effects, and that memes served as coping tools. Recommendations include increased resources, flexibility, and understanding to benefit graduate students’ wellness beyond the pandemic.
