As we honor the extensive experience adult learners bring with them, developing cultural empathy helps us design learning environments that better meet their needs. This presentation will discuss how the researchers used design personas in the instructional design process. Using personas helped them develop cultural empathy with their Native American learners as they designed professional learning experiences.
