Short Description

This concurrent presentation will identify and examine the trends identified in earlier versions of a current major journal, Tech Trends, published between 1964 to 1985. The presentation will describe a content analysis leading with a quantitative approach, while supplementing the findings with qualitative analysis of artifacts (i.e., images) in context. The presentation aims to improve understanding of past trends in research and advertising to understand future trends in instructional design and technology.
