15. DDL- Preparing for the “New Normal”: Two Years into Emergency Remote Teaching

Short Description

Beginning in 2020, teachers were forced to switch from traditional classroom instruction to emergency remote teaching. After two years of schools facing the urgent switch to remote learning, many schools have developed strategies to cope with virtual schooling. During Spring 2022, 21 K-12 teachers completed a field experience in online teaching as part of a state endorsement. These teachers completed a survey describing individual- and school-level preparations for any future transitions to online teaching.
