Course readings might often be considered solitary endeavors for students to complete individually, but what if we re-imagine reading as a shared engagement in interactive meaning-making? In this session, we will explore an ancient reading practice called “florilegium,” and how one instructor employed a high-tech twist to use it in an online course. Participants will come away with everything they need to use this strategy in their own online, blended, or face-to-face courses.
