Short Description

Traditional summative assessments are not meeting the needs of 21st-century students. This study explores the idea of summative stealth assessments in video games as a possible replacement for traditional assessments. The study aims to determine an appropriate theoretical framework to support summative stealth assessments, understand how these assessments impact student learning, and discover the cultural implications of replacing traditional assessments with summative stealth assessments.
