Do Dashboard Designs in Computerized Classification Testing Systems Matter?

Fri, Oct 28, 11:30 to 11:45am PDT (11:30 to 11:45am PDT), Conf Center, Sunset 3

Short Description

This project focused on investigating a Computerized Classification Testing (CCT) system, empowering students with self-assessments to monitor their learning progress. We analyzed N = 87 students with regard to their use and perceptions of the CCT system. Findings indicate no significant difference in the use and interaction of CCT dashboards. While the implemented dashboards seem to provide solid informative support, students’ characteristics may affect the students’ interactions with CCT systems.
