Short Description

To meet the needs of employers, instructional designers should have basic knowledge of project management. However, there is a question about how well instructional design programs are preparing students in project management. This study surveyed over 200 U.S. instructional design programs to learn what aspects of project management they include in their curriculum, along with reviewing course materials using a textual analysis. Findings will discuss how these programs integrate project management elements into their courses.
