Mon, Oct 24, 3:50 to 5:20pm PDT (3:50 to 5:20pm PDT), Conf Center, Celebrity 4

Short Description

The purpose of this study is to examine how students’ reported social presence spreads within a shared online learning environment. Furthermore, we considered how students’ social presence shapes peer-nomination patterns in an online learning community across subsequent courses. To do so, we used longitudinal network analysis of analyzed peer-nominations and social presence levels of students enrolled in three consecutive courses.
