Short Description

After attending this session, attendees will understand the value of creating, sustaining, and/or participating in a regional Community of Practice (CoP) for professionals in the fields of instructional design and faculty development. The presenters will share suggestions for how instructional designers might invite and cultivate a regional CoP for individuals from institutions that may face similar challenges and circumstances, and may therefore be interested in regional partnerships and professional development opportunities. Attendees will also be offered guidance on best practices for creating and sustaining a regional learning community.
