Short Description

Physical therapy (PT), like many health care professions, requires experiences that are literally “hands-on.” This presentation will show how one institution conducts simultaneous, hands-on instruction from two locations in a coordinated way. With the aid of video teleconferencing technology and personnel, Idaho State University expanded its PT instruction to another region of the state, and doubled its number of graduates. This case study is for people who want to learn more about synchronous distance instruction.
