Short Description

In-App Learning (IAL) goes by many names and comes in many formats. The author defines IAL as any method in which a learner can gain information from within a software application as opposed to an external point of origin. This session will discuss terminology used to describe IAL, explore examples (such as learning hubs, on-page and context-based assistance, etc.), connect theoretical underpinnings to IAL concepts, and discuss implications for practice in the organizational training context.
