Short Description

One would think that culture is already included in higher education world language (WL) courses, when actually many courses neglect the cultural element. By teaching the culture in lower-level WL courses, students can develop a global awareness to expand their understanding of other people groups. This past year a new HIP, Global/Cultural Awareness, was accepted by the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR). Come and see how this HIP can be incorporated into online WL courses.
