Organizational Leadership: Using Systems Thinking to Lead with Social Justice

Wed, Oct 26, 1:30 to 2:25pm PDT (1:30 to 2:25pm PDT), Conf Center, Celebrity 1

Short Description

Social justice leadership requires intentional action to build the collective capacities for moving a system nested in dominant values, policy, and practice. Strong leaders are needed, but the leadership of systemic change for social justice can seem antithetical. Why? To lead lasting change leaders coalesce and amplify marginalized voices seeking to provide greater access to resources rather than their own. In this interactive session, panel leaders share how they promote social justice, what it looks like, and feels like to lead in their learning organizations.
