Linguistic Analysis and Categorization of Educational Videos

In this session we discussion the linguistic characteristics of instructional and documentary videos found on YouTube using the Linguistic Inquiry Word Counter summary language variables. Additionally, we attempt to define the linguistic characteristics of edutainment videos by contrasting their choice of words with those of instructional and documentary videos.
