CT and CS education continue to face low levels of participation from marginalized groups. Integrating equity-focused CT and CS activities into the core K-5 curriculum may broaden engagement and improve student learning experiences, addressing entrenched diversity and inclusion issues. Teacher education may serve as an entry point to disseminate such equity-focused education. Below, we introduce a conceptual framework leveraging intersectional feminism and embodied learning to support preservice teachers as they integrate culturally responsive computation pedagogies.
