This study identifies differences in student NWEA MAP math achievement and growth in traditional versus virtual learning environments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Demographic variables such as grade level, race/ethnicity, and economically disadvantaged status are included. In total, the data of 18,810 students enrolled in the full year of 2020-2021 in grades one through ten in a large Georgia public school district are collected. Results and implications will be discussed in the presentation.
