The purpose of this presentation is to provide guidelines for the design of peer assessment for online courses in higher education. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many courses are forced to switch to the online mode. Designing and implementing peer assessment in online courses can be challenging. This presentation proposed guidelines to design peer assessment for online courses based on a review of the empirical studies on peer assessment in an online learning environment.
