The resurgence of board games in the last decade has sparked interest among researchers in various fields. Increasingly, board game studies reveal the connection between board gameplay and learning. Yet, research investigating the relationship between identity and learning in board game spaces is still limited. In this study, the author examines the intersection of identity and learning in a board game space, and the implication for learning in different settings.
