Short Description

Learn about a yearlong virtual Online Teaching Academy for geographically distributed K-12 teachers. Activities aimed for immediate application and development of teacher leadership. The Community of Inquiry Framework (Richardson, et al, 2012).was used as a unifying concept in course design and application. Students explored tools like Book Creator, Oculus Quest 2, and OER. Topics like ELL, and accessibility were applied in their own course and material designs to share at home schools.
