Short Description

The purpose of this case study is to explore the cognitive and emotional student engagement in an online computer science methods course. We utilized a case-based learning approach with simulation technology, called ‘Teacher Moments’, in responding to the challenges of gaining field experiences for preservice teachers during the pandemic. The implementation and practical application using this technology will be discussed.
