In this proposal, the empirical studies using an educational video game ARTé: Mecenas were presented. Students’ game flow experiences were explored using the EGameflow scale (Fu et al., 2009). The relationship between the game flow experience and learning performance was examined. Additionally, students’ gameplay patterns were revealed using K-Means clustering method. The findings indicated the possible reasons causing students’ impersistence issues during the gameplay.
