Short Description

Creating effective and well-resourced online course modules is a recipe for student success. This requires the engagement of empirically proven practices, standards, and principles to offer learners deep and active learning experiences through motivated interactions with content, peers, and the instructor. Integrating Gagne’s nine events of instruction into the Virginia Tech TLOS course design guide can bring structure and guidance to creating engaging learning modules for online learning experiences.
