This case study examines the design and facilitation of a synchronous online master program in social work. Sixty-eight students and eighteen faculty members evaluated the strengths and challenges of online degree program development through course evaluations, individual reflections, and semi-structured interviews. Student and f faculty respondents specified the benefits and challenges of fully online learning experiences. Implications and recommendations will be presented based on a review of findings that inform pedagogical considerations and design decisions.
