Short Description

The purposes of this mixed-method study were to study the process of a first-year engineering instructor’s design and delivery of a Fluid Mechanics class in online settings and to examine how student perceptions of the instructor’s teaching presence related to student satisfaction and student perceived learning in the US. This study contributed to a better understanding of online pedagogy during an instructor’s first-year teaching Fluid Mechanics in a synchronous online learning environment during the pandemic.
