Short Description

While a hybrid approach offers students a flexible and convenient option for completing a degree program, an examination of learners’ experiences can offer valuable insight into how students engage, connect, and learn. This qualitative descriptive study examines students’ (n=17) experiences and opinions about participating in a hybrid Ph.D. program at a Research 1 university. Findings provide faculty and administrators with an understanding of the benefits and challenges experienced by Ph.D. students in a hybrid program.
