The AECT Bylaws are changing! The AECT Executive Committee tasked the Organization & Bylaws Committee (O&BC) with a review and proposed revision to the organizational bylaws in Fall 2021. After months of reconciling internal feedback on general issues, comparison with aspirational and peer organizations, and verification with Indiana Code, a revised version of the AECT Bylaws opened for public viewing and commentary in March 2022. Thanks to leader and member feedback, the revised bylaws incorporate a variety of feedback intended to help the organization run smoothly and operate with transparency. Come and learn about the major changes in the bylaws before casting your vote on adoption.
